The time has come to gather your (appellate) arms and head to Boston.
Registration for the Appellate Practice Section’s Retreat in Boston is now open!
When and Where:
October 1–4, 2026 | Boston, Massachusetts
(Note: The link to book your stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Boston will be sent via email from The Florida Bar after your Retreat registration is confirmed. A 3-night hotel stay is included in your Retreat registration cost.)
What’s on the Agenda:
- 3 CLE credits (in-person or pre-recorded; TBD)
- APS Fall Executive Committee Meeting (with a pre-meeting buffet breakfast provided)
- Welcome Reception with appetizers and cocktails
- Tour of Fenway Park
- Dinner event at the JFK Library and Museum
- Boston Duck Boat Tour
- Historical Tour (Walking or Trolley—you pick!)
- Saturday night “Dine-Arounds” at Faneuil Hall (Self-pay; APS will arrange reservations at several restaurants with sign-up sheets provided)
- Unstructured time to connect with colleagues you usually only see across a podium!

Member Rate: $1,776
Includes 3 nights in a double room at The Ritz-Carlton, 3 hours of CLE, EC Meeting buffet breakfast, Welcome Reception, dinner at the JFK Library and Museum, and guided Boston tours.
Guest Rate: $900
Includes access to all scheduled tours and retreat events. (Note: Only paid guests may attend pre-arranged meals and tours.)
Important Note on Capacity:
Registration is strictly limited to 50 APS members (plus guests staying in the same room) and will close as soon as the limit is reached.
