Appellate Practice Section of The Florida Bar

Now Accepting Applications for APS Fellowship Program

Ready to level up your appellate practice?
If you’ve been practicing law for five or fewer years and have an interest in appellate advocacy, the Appellate Practice Section Fellowship Program is your opportunity to get involved, get mentored, and get noticed.   Each year, the Section selects one fellow for a two-year term. Fellows collaborate with highly engaged Section members and leading appellate practitioners on APS programs, gain hands-on appellate experience with the guidance of a dedicated mentor, and build meaningful professional connections within the appellate community.   To support participation, fellows receive a stipend to help offset the cost of attending APS meetings and events throughout the year.   If appellate practice is where you see your future, submit your application by April 15, 2026!   Please send Fellowship Program applications to Amy Walker, Appellate Practice Section Program Administrator with a copy to the Fellowship Committee Co-Chairs, Nicholas Lynch and Courtney Brewer. Fellowship committee members will briefly interview applicants over the phone.   Nick and Courtney may also be contacted via email for any questions regarding the APS Fellowship Program.
