Greetings Appellate Practice Section Members,
It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome you to the Appellate Practice Section’s 2024-2025 year and our newly updated website. This website will serve as a cornerstone in our mission to provide valuable resources, foster professional growth, and enhance appellate practice across Florida.
Throughout my time with APS, I have been amazed by the dedication of our section’s officers, executive council, committees, and members to provide exceptional services to the entire legal profession. That commitment ensures that APS continues to provide its members, among many other services, top notch continuing legal education programs, opportunities for appellate pro bono representation, comprehensive articles on appellate issues and courts, and fantastic occasions to connect with other appellate attorneys across the state.
Continuing that tradition of service, our new website will provide a comprehensive hub about APS. Here, you will find up-to-date information on upcoming events, CLE opportunities, and the latest developments in APS’s activities. Additionally, the website provides a wealth of resources to support your involvement in APS and even your practice, including the section’s operating documents and articles from our signature publication The Record. We aim to create a space where you can easily access the tools and information you need, as well as connect with your colleagues and stay informed about upcoming events.
I encourage you to explore the site, take advantage of its features, and share your feedback with us. Your input is invaluable as we strive to continually improve and meet the needs of our membership.
